Cauliflower, Romanesco
Plant 18-20 inches apart. Romanesco Italia is a cool-season crop that thrives in cooler temperatures. It prefers full sun exposure and fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Adding compost or well-rotted manure before planting can improve soil fertility and help the plant thrive. This variety is quite sensitive to heat, the ideal temperature for optimal growth is 50-75 F.
You may preorder your seedlings through March 10th, after which limited stock will be available. Shipping is not available at this time for plants. Seedlings are available for local pick up and drop sites (additional drop site fee) near Clear Lake, MN. Pick up dates are variable based on frost dates but will be on average mid-May. Payment is due before pick up, which will be arranged once planting time gets closer.
