With variegated leaves and small stature, these eye-catching pepper plants are well suited to pots and hanging baskets, as well as producing good yields of flavorful peppers. They can be eaten in their immature purple state or allowed to ripen to red. Their heat will typically reach 5,000 Scoville Units. Harvest in 85-90 days.

Purple Tiger Hot Pepper
Unlike other pepper plants, do not prune lower leaves. Don't be in a rush to get these planted! Peppers like warm or hot days and will be stunted if planted too early in the season. Wait until all threat of frost is gone. Plant in full sun I. fertile soil with organic material worked in. Avoid too much nitrogen especially before fruit sets.
You may preorder your seedlings through March 10th, after which limited stock will be available. Shipping is not available at this time for plants. Seedlings are available for local pick up and drop sites (additional drop site fee) near Clear Lake, MN. Pick up dates are variable based on frost dates but will be on average mid-May. Payment is due before pick up, which will be arranged once planting time gets closer.
